An update from ASH&STONE

Kia ora everyone,

It is with a heavy heart to say we have had to make an extremely difficult decision to close down the Ponsonby store.

Unfortunately we just haven’t been able to survive this economic climate; one of the worst New Zealand has faced. Also trying to maintain visibility with the likes of Temu coming into the NZ market and targeting our small business has been extremely hard.

We have tried to pivot and keep afloat, a lot of it is thanks to you guys supporting us 🩵 but unfortunately this mountain is a bit too big for us to climb right now. ASH&STONE will continue online though, as we have such a loyal following.

I know that with one door closing another opens, but for now we are having a big Ponsonby shop closing down sale. Mum and I are taking a much needed break and will be back in-store on the 5th of Jan. We hope to see you then.

Gift vouchers will remain valid and can be used online (or in-store while we have the Ponsonby shop).

I know ASH&STONE was a safe space for a lot of you to come to, and I’m so grateful that I could hold that space for so many of you over the past few years.
