Orange calcite crystals are a calcium carbonate mineral that is said to be the stone of happiness and hope. Called a gift from the goddess Saule on the winter solstice to remind people that sun and happiness will return after a period of darkness. 

Believed to help reignite sensuality, desire, self expression and divine flow within you. 

Orange calcite crystals are an energy amplifier, increasing the flow of positive energy in your life. Also believed to be good as a creativity crystal as it is said to help link you into your higher conscious and helps with channeling. Often used for writers or whilst journaling if you are feeling a block or stuck in your thoughts. Place your orange calcite next to you or hold it near your sacral chakra whilst writing and let the words flow.

Orange calcite can be cleansed and charged in the sunlight, run under water or you can use sage. Orange calcite can be damaged with salt cleansing so if you are using salt place in a container first and then place on top the salt.
