Smoky amethyst scepter quartz | very rare
Scepter quartz is a crystal in which a second generation crystal grew on top of another quartz crystal. Generally, the younger tip is larger that the first tip - as is the case with this specimen.
In this example, on the underneath of the crystal you can see the where the large point has grown over multiple smaller scepters. This is something that only happens on larger crystals, as small crystals will usually have only one scepter.
