Faden quartz is a special one; a crystal that was fractured during a major earth shift, each crystal then regenerated and reformed. 

Translating to thread, Faden is so called due to the white linear inclusions that can often be seen in the crystal, these can surrounded by fluid of gaseous chambers. This thread is often referred to as the spirit line, providing a direct connection to spiritual energies.
