About Salumeria Fontana olive oils
In 2006, Greg Scopas developed the Salmueria Fontana olive press on his family run olive grove in the picturesque Hoteo North Valley on Auckland's Northern boundary.
Here, he produces many fine single estate extra virgin olive oils in the true artisan tradition by paying careful attention to harvesting, centrifugal cold pressed extraction and filtering. The result is award-winning refined New Zealand made extra virgin olive oil full of freshness and flavour.
